Alley Oop, About The Pass or The Finish??

Alley Oop.. that is an offensive play in which one player throws the ball near the basket to a teammate who jumps, catches the ball in mid air and immediately scores a basket, usually with a slam dunk. The alley-oop combines elements of teamwork, pinpoint passing, and timing. Well we all very often to see it in basketball's games. Sometimes we yelled wow..... but what made us to yell wow?? is it the pass? or the finish?
